STICKERS

The year was 1983 & 1984. When you were a teenager or in middle school you could find these amazing Culture Club stickers at your local drugstore or Toys R Us. They were every were to buy. We all had them on our school books and all over our lockers with our pin ups of Jon Moss and Boy George. In fact you couldn't't go an were with out one of your school mates having one of these. I remember there was even a Culture Club notebook pad ?(just see below)

Promo album & singles stickers & Taboo

Zebra Marketing was in full swing back in 1984 with the Multicultural Club and Music Access. There was a huge line of promotional stuff for the 3rd Culture Club album "Waking Up With The House On Fire" Here we have a promo sticker for the album cover. There was Even a "Waking Up With The House On Fire(Fire Extinguisher Can)that was also produced for the album. Sold on ebay for $190.00. I even saw it in New York City and Love Saves The Day Shop!(Sorry no picture of this)

In 1986 the album From Luxury To Heartache had a spacial large promo sticker that was included with the 7 single for DJ/radio air play back in February 1986.

Boy Georges B-Rude clothing label even had some promo stickers made for them back in 2007.

More Protein released several stickers for their label back in 1990-1993. These stickers would be placed on mailers for releases etc from More Protein. Thanks to Bell for the information on this. 

Boy Georges musical Taboo was filled with many memorabilia stuff including stickers,pens,cards,key chains coffee mugs and dolls. here is a listing of the stickers that were available from the Taboo Street Team from New York around October 2003.

I remember seeing this card listed on record runner when I was a kid and thought to my self how neat it was back then. Now that I'm grow up and more of a collector I'd wish I owned this baby!!! I would give Everything I own just to see this once again.

A Boy George pop glow stick was made in 1984 that you would use to take to your Culture Club concert to wave around. These not so expensive items sold for around $1. Since this is a collector item now its worth $45 because of the Boy George packaging.

The Boy George and Michale Jackson doll Magazine add from the USA. It make you wonder why the Boy George doll didn't have a change of clothing line also like Michale Jackson did.

Boy Snoopy was out in 1983 and sold exclusively for JC Penny and Macy's stores worldwide back in 1983. the original Snoopy has a Box that he sits on with the Boy George picture marked below.

Taboo Dolls. In 2005 Taboo on Broadway had many little miniature Boy George dolls that were inspired by Leigh Bowery for taboo On Broadway.com. Each doll measured 4¾ by 2In.

When i first saw this at Eil.com I couldn't believe this. This is really cool the way way the notepad explains about Taking ones mind on a trip. Just writing things down from your mind is the example thats used here.

Theses were the stuff that every girl and boy  carried to high school with. There were ones made for Duran Duran and Madonna also. I remember back then how I wanted to cut out the membership card and mail out the forum to get my Multicultural Club membership renewed.

The school note book (50 sheets Wide Ruled with Pocket 10½ in.x 8in.) Created by Pop folio Pop theme notebook. 

This was an amazing school note book with one pocket to hold your papers. The book also had 3 pictures on the inner sleeve of all the Culture Club members and Multicultural Club membership form to fill out by Zebra Marketing.

Wallet For Men 1984 This was a boys wallet that was issued my music access back in the day. Wallet measured 4½ X 5 In.

Pillow for your bed- In 1983 there was even a Boy George pillow that you could win a a carnival or fair back in the day. I remember seeing these all the time. They were made out of Silk. Measured 10¼ in.8½ in.

Ear rings two sets from 1984. There were many earing's made in the 1980's for Culture Club and Duran Duran and Madonna by Music Access. They were really uncomfortable to wear because they keep falling out with the plastic piece that was supposed to hold the ear rings together.

The Twin only 50 copies made and sold Thur More Protein back in 2004. Its a laminated pictures of Boy George. Hand numbered and signed by the boy himself.

In 1986 Wonder bread (America Comp) had a Pop Art trading cards that were enclosed with loafs of bread back in the day. I still never knew why Culture Club never had no Bubble Gum Trading Cards like Cyndi Lauper and Michale Jackson had. Oh well!

Electronics

The Karma Chameleon phone. Was to be sold Thur the USA back in 2002-2003 season but never lifted off the market. A paid program  TV commercial was put together, but never aired in the USA. This phone was done in the UK only Thur a long distance service. 

Calenders were from 1984,1985 of Boy George and Culture Club. There was one for Boy George solo from 1988, not pictured yet.
