Bang That Gong Of Love, Bang That Gong Of Life, Fire Boy!
A very old recording from the recording session that produced two songs for the Suntory Jun Gin ad campaign "Fire Boy Meets His Match" and "All Prayers Answered". "Fire Boy Meets His Match" was a recording jingle with a quirky dittie in Japanese. It's about a Gong of Life with a plastic soul, George thought the lyrics were really silly and the person who wrote the song was actually from England who thought he wrote like David Bowie, so George named him Bowie. The producer keep telling George on how he wanted him to sing the song so George refused and left t the recording studio and went out for Chinese food with Michael at the time, when he got back the Japaneses reps weren't to please and aloud George to record the jingles his way or no way. This was just release in Japan on Nov 11, 2009. Available on the CD 80's CM. Click the link to order this CD from CD JAPAN for US and UK and the rest of the world. White Xmas First Ever New Boy George Christmas Single
The long awaited new Christmas single from pop icon Boy George was released on December 13 (UK) December 15 (USA) In the USA the download single went straight to the Top 10 pop/rock download category at number 5 on Amazon.com George was really pleased that he was in the top 5 in the USA that he even posted his position on his twitter page.
George has finally came to recording a Christmas classic. "White Christmas". The track sounds amazing. Recorded last month and remixed by "Kinky Roland". "White Xmas" will become the fan favorite Christmas tune. So now fans when you decorate your tree you will have a George cover finally to listen to. This marks a turning point in the Boy George recording era. It was not until 2006 when George collaborated with Anthony and The Johnson's on "So This Is Christmas War Is Over". Were now given a fresh new exciting Christmas track. I for one could not be more than happy to get this remake. George was interviewed in the USA on Satellite radio with Larry Flick where George mentioned that next year he may do an entire "Electro Santa" Christmas album. The track was originally to be done as a collaboration with "Sliimy" who is on "Perez Hilton's" new recording label, but "Sliimy" back out and then George decided to do it instead. This mini new Ep is also filled with two new tracks "Lousy Substitute" and "More Girls Just Like You" (John Themis Remix).
Solo Album in the works
The new Boy George solo album will be available in 2010 around April it's schedule to be released. More information will follow in the next few months. George quoted " I'm doing a new covers album with Steve Levine who produced all the early Culture Club stuff. This album will be more traditional and will feature lots of interesting covers, some jazz classics including one with my friend Coby. There will be some gospel tracks a few brand new songs including a track I wrote about my friend Paul Starr called 'Lights' which will be part of this new project. I will tour for this album from around April. We are making a documentary to go with this project but it will be purely about the music, no scandal or bullshit!"
New Boy George EP (Coming Soon)
Amazing Grace concludes an amazing year for Boy George. Its the long awaited EP (Extended Play) from Boy George which is scheduled to hit a major release. The EP will feature mixes by Marc Vedo, Kinky Roland. George quote "This is a brand new dance album with all the stuff I've collaborated on with Kinky Roland, some of it has been available before but there are lot's of tracks that never got released or mixes of tracks that have never been heard of. We are including a few new things, "Amazing Grace", "Brand New","Turn To Dust". The music video is being filmed by "Lady Pat" who directed last years smash "Yes We Can". More details to follow in the upcoming weeks. George has posted the single cover via his Twitter page.

Boy George's "Yes We Can" gets re-released
The No.1 single from Boy George for his smash hit Yes We Can gets an official release in Italy on July 9, 2009. The long awaited single gets remixed by Davide Loi, Fvr (Aka Giovanni Favara) The single is already being played on the Italian dance charts. Expect this a hard to find import. The CD single is already causing a stir on Ebay with bidders and watchers paying some big bucks for the CD single.

George is back with John Themis recording some new tracks.
Boy George is now in the recording studio working on some new tracks with John Themis. The two have worked on many songs in the past including his last smash hit "Yes We Can" and "American Heart". Now George & John are working on new tracks with "Candy Rock" on a soon to be released George track called "You Ruined My Christmas" George quoted on his Twitter page "The song is very Doo Wop and will be very funny when it is finished" You Ruined My Christmas was uttered by George's mum to his drunk Aunt when he was a kid. Also in the works are new songs called "Amazing Grace' which is being remixed by Kinky Roland which will be part of the new Kinky Roland project due out for a winter release.

George is back and better than before, It seems our Boy is taking care of his health now and is more concern about himself than ever before. George is the way he use to be in the early 1990's when he was into his Jesus Loves You persona. So what is it that George is doing? He's doing a transformation of himself and eating nothing but a RAW food diet which means he eats everything raw like fruits & vegetables along with nuts and hole grains. The out come speaks wonders for George!!! He has his sparkle back and is losing weight and is even going to quit smoking for good. There is a new tune by Boy George called "Spoiling It For The Others" that will be released soon on itunes. George just recently debuted this song at London Gay Pride this summer with David Hoyle who has collaborated with him on the track. The track is very similar too the song writing George did in Taboo. George says ‘Spoiling it’for the others has a real Taboo flavor but obviously because I’m working with Comic David Hoyle some of the lyrics have a darker and more comical edge. David often describes the gay scene as ‘A slow burning suicide cult’ hence my using that line which is probably more Morrissey than Boy George! I If you haven't heard this funny tune yet don't worry it will be available on line to purchase. The song was recorded on July 1, 2009 at Frost studios and a new music video was also filmed on July 1, 2009 .The music video had make up artist Christine Bateman doing George sand Davids eye makeup. George looks stunning in this video. The music video was filmed in George's north London home in Hampstead. The music video is the 4th music video ever to be filmed in his home. Back in 2002 a music video was filmed for Ich Bin Kunst and in 1992 for Ezzee Posse for Breathing Is Ezee.Also Zee's music video for Dream time was also filmed in Georges home.
Boy George has also penned two new tracks one is called Amazing Grace which he had on his my space page but is was removed because some fans were recording the track onto MP3 and placing them around forums. The second track is called Lights about Paul Start who passe away early this year in his LA home. Lights is a very moving emotional song by George it has a strong message and pin points such sadness in ones missing loved one. It reminds me of IL Adore that much. Hopefully this will be included on the new Boy George solo album due out in April 2010.
George has the all new dance track called Brand New which is part of the Kinky Roland collaborating project which will be a series of dance tracks that George has done with Kinky Roland and will be released for a limited time.
Covers Album in the works
With it being said George will be teaming up with Culture Club producer Steve Levine for a all new covers album. George is going to be in the recording studio this October with Steve Levine and hopes to get this project released in April of 2010. George is trying to am for a Jazz feel type of an album. And with the right ingredients we all think hell do well.

Fans of George its really great now to hear Georges music on the American Satellite airwaves. Sirius Out Q satellite radio is really playing the hell out of Boy Georges New single Turn To Dust. The single is already making the the Top 20. Last week the single was number 12 and now its climbed to the number 10 spot. Also the single is being played on the Sirius Out Q Morning Jolt with Larry Flick.

The Long awaited new interview with pop icon Boy George was done today as a North America exclusive with Billboard Magazine music critic Larry Flick who is one of George's biggest fans. George told America today that he is PRETTY HAPPY at the moment!!! He's more happier than he's ever felt !!! So this is great news that out Boy is feeling upbeat!! George also said that he is writing new music and working on putting out a new compilation album of the music thats he's recorded in the past that he's slacked off!!! Now he said its time for me to get these out to my fans.
Some of this new music was written around the time George was in New York for Taboo including "If I Were You" "Second Chance", "Lousy Substitute", and his new soon to be released single "Turn To Dust' George says now about the songs "Its music that I've written that I've either didn't bother to listen to or just plan old ignored . So actually now I'm digging thru my back catalog of songs and listening to them for the first time and thinking wow these are really great songs I've written they now fit on how I'm feeling now " George spoke about the tracks "Turn To Dust" and "If I Were You". POP Star Boy George
Today was the first day of History Of Gay Music on Sirius networks morning show called The Morning Jolt with Larry Flick. I was very pleased with the showcase. Larry played a track from Georges first solo album "Sold" for "We Got The Right To Love' what a great choice he said about pride fest and all of us having the right to love each other. The song sounded beautiful over the satellite radio this morning. Larry then joked about George on his Twitter page saying that George better not call in later or else, Larry also spoke about his interview with George that would take place this Tuesday June 22, 2009 in the USA and Canada at 9am EST. The show also will premiere @7;35 am the long awaited new digital single from Boy George called "Turn To Dust" what a perfect time to release this as a single for America and the World for pride fest. Writing New Music- George is currently in good spirits serving his time. he is doing good things such as writing songs for Robbie Williams and TI. George has been working his time by cleaning pots and pans and helping around the kitchen. George is also taking a math class because its something hes always wanted to do. Is he really Bad At Maths? George is expected to be released soon by Mid April.
Regine Zylberg & Boy George sing a new duet.
On March 9, 2009 will see the release of the long awaited new album from "Regine Zylberberg " called "Regine's Duets" which features 16 duets including one with Robbie Williams & also with Boy George on the duet track called "I've Always Brought Luck To Men." This track is wonderful & yet uplifting for us fans. The last time George sang in French was in 1984 on "The War Song." George also song French on the French film called"La Baroque" back in 2001. So all in all this is sure to be a fan favorite!
Some remix newsThe classic Culture Club track "Do You Really Want To Hurt Me" has be remixed by the ever so clever "Culture Shock". The remix will be appearing a on future Culture Shock compilation album. The remix uses the demo, the dub mix, and the album version. This mix is all twisted up to get you moving. New Song American Heart will be released on April 6,2009 in the UK only as a digital download single. The single will be available on the American Heart EP which features A Radio Edit and Full album version. Also will be on the album by Bliss on their album called "No One Built This Moment" The album features Boy George on the track he wrote in 2008 for "American Heart". This new remix by Bliss was very well crafted and sounds beautiful. It draws an image to your mind of ones heartbreak, which then leads us to the dismissal of the relationship. The ending is quite beautiful with violins and a beautiful piano playing. It seems like every time he collaborates with other artist the music always sounds much better. This is an amazing song which could lead to another solo hit for George. The last big collaborating hit he had was in 1993 with the Crying Game which went to No.1 in Canada and top 15 in the USA. Expect this to be BIG in 2009.
This track gives us hope that good things are to come from Mr. Boy George. George told Bliss "My voice goes very well with your style of music" Bliss is very happy that George emailed them and agreed for the track to be remixed by Bliss. American Heart (a demo version) was also featured on Georges my space page a few months ago and is the most played song on his my space page at 49,000 hits and counting. Will American Heart be included on the next album? Maybe

When Will You Learn -Just when you think somethings come to an end, they magically reappear. It wasn't till last year when we all were re-released the Jesus Loves anthem for Generations Of Love, now for 2009 its seems that Georges friend Bappi Lahiri will be releasing and ragga version to this song . Was featured on Love Story 98 soundtrack. Bappi told reporters that he is very excited about the track and plans to release this song soon. The remix features George doing a Hindu chant in the beginning. The new track will be renamed to "When Will You Learn From Your Tears & Suffering" When Will You Learn was a Grammy nominated song .

In the USA Boy Georges new club anthem hit Generations of Love is making a big BANG on the Sirius Satellite dance charts. Sirius hits 33 plays this song just about every other day and what makes it better is that people are actually loving this remix. Culture Club Live From Sydney Re-packed DVD out now.
OK all there is a very miss leading Culture Club DVD(VCD) floating around ebay for the past couple of months. They claim that this VCD was released in 1989. But if i re-call a vcd never existed back then. So in the long run this is a most defiantly a bootleg of the actual red distribution DVD Culture Club live from Sydney. They claim this vcd is live from Canada where it has you all fooled (Maybe I'm A Fool) So this DVD is an actual vcd of a copy of the DVD of Sydney. However this performance does omit Mister Man and the Bonus Featured. It has a running time of 68 min to where the Live from Sydney DVD is 77 minutes. I give this bootleg Culture Club live From Canada just *1/2 stars.
Note* The real Culture Club live from Sydney has now been deleted from the Sony Music Catalog and is no longer available. Only 25,500 were made worldwide. So i get on the band wagon and get myself a copy before the vanish forever.
New Boy George Album in the works
George is planning on releasing his next Solo album in over 6 years. The last solo LP from George was 2002's U Can Never B2 Straight which had music from Taboo and the club smash Out Of Fashion. So George has had some time to write some really great songs these past few years. Across the globe the all new Phunk investigation remix of the classic Boy George track for Generations of love has been getting some pretty good radio airplay across the world. Already at the top of the Club play charts at No.6 in Italy alone. It's climbing all the way to the top fast. Could this be the summer hit for George for 2008? The track was first remixed in 1990 under the alias moniker Jesus Loves You remixed by the legendary Paul Oakenfold. This marks the 55th remix to date for this track. It was just remixed last year by famous club DJ Bob Sinclair and now for 2008 it will have 10 more remixes added to it making it 64 in all.

[Katie] Firstly i want to say Generations of love the remix package for 2008 is fantastic, The track is such an amazing floor filler. Request for this track are in high demand. When did you decide to do this track?
[Phunk Investigation]We met George in Praha for a DJ gig and spoke to George about us remixing his anthem them for Generations of Love. Both him and I wanted to revamp Generations Of Love. The Original Oakenfold remix is one of our favorite remixes, so we decided to use the loop sample mixed into the song. The backing chimes sound is what makes Georges Generations of Love his own Vogue.
[Katie] Controversial question. The rumors of molestation whether true or false what sort of person do you think Boy George is?
[Phunk Investigation]George's great artist, cool DJ and fantastic person. Its a total load of rubbish.
[Katie]Who else have you been thinking about remixing?
[Phunk Investigation] we're waiting the next magic idea. Georges new remix for his Culture Club number for Miss Me Blind is superb.
[Katie] What can be a real back lash is you re-create a track and the reviews are just nasty?
[Phunk Investigation] to reset and go ahead on the other tracks. Allot of people are requesting this remix.
[Katie] The music world has some hits and total misses. What track have you heard re-done & thought to yourself it probably should have been left at the back of that persons Barry white collection?
{Phunk Investigation} all Michael Jackson covers done until now. It's a sacrilege to touch THE HERO.
[Katie] What are you guys working on at the moment?
[Phunk Investigation] The last our remix has been ''Bottom Heavy 2008'' by Danny Tenaglia, Boy George,Johan Gielen & Josh Millstone are on the way and the next will be Cesar De Melero,Sharp & Smooth,Plastik Funk and Simple Minds new one plus the finishing touches on the Generations of love remixes.
[Katie] Are you excited about the Olympics this year? What sport is your favorite to watch?

The Boy Is Back In Town' tour will begin in Surrey on October 1 and will arrive at Portsmouth Guildhall on October 14. This will mark a 29 date UK tour again with plenty of glamour added.
His new single Yes We Can is set to be released two days before he comes to Portsmouth.
Boy George said: 'I wrote and recorded Yes We Can which was inspired by Barack Obama and his inspirational speeches throughout his campaign for the US presidency.
'We've sampled his voice throughout the track, it's about his journey and also about what I've been going through too – it's uplifting.' The new single will be released on October 12, 2008 worldwide.
