News just in! Gwen Stefani new single "Wind It Up" has just entered the US and UK dance charts thanks to a little help from Caron Geary aka MC Kinky. The single is already No.1 in New Zealand. The remix is an electro house track with two small toasting raps by MC Kinky. The remix is called "Wind It Up" (Abashment Electro House Mix feat MC Kinky) also a dub is included. This is a white label DJ promo only 12' and CDR. Check your local DJ import stores for details.

The last time MC Kinky was collaborating with some one famous was with Erasure back in 1992 with Take A Chance On Me which took her to number 1 in the UK (and many other countries!!). So what has Kinky being doing?

Well she was snapped up by EMI and released a single in 1996 called Everybody under the name of Kinky but even with a multiple of mixes it dint't gain the interest Kinky and the record company hoped it would gain and she left EMI right after the single. Since then she has done many collaborations with different artists with just as many different kind of musical styles: for example she did vocals on Jam & Spoons mix of the chase by Giorgio Moroder and for Jah Wobble and Natasha Atlas. She also did some demos. Then in 1999 she teamed up with Wayward Soul for a track called "Real Wild Child". When remixed and re-released in 2001 it was a massive club hit. Also in 2001 she teamed up with Storm (who are Jam & Spoon under another name and have had hits with Storm and Time to Burn) on a remix of a track called "We Love", first released in Germany but soon picked up by different labels worldwide. Boy George Fever will be bringing you some of these rare tracks to hear in our special MC Kinky section.

More MC Kinky News.... The smash that has got MC Kinky back is now causing a stir in dance land. Already a promo one sided 12' is out with an all new house track for "Everything Starts With An E" (Breaks Mix). DJ Source claim that this one you cant put down! The track is Already massive. The record is also being remixed by String Brothers and a independent 12' is set for next month.  Will keep you all posted.

Culture Club's song sample makes radio waves..

Ben Macklyns first single Feel 2 gether is already No.16 in the UK alone and features a sample from Culture Clubs ballad Victims. This remix can also be heard in mp3 @  http://www.juno.co.uk/products/244501-01.htm
