The shallow end of the Account Based Marketing pool is also vertical marketing services. You can target priority industries though you may not be ready yet to allocate resources into a select number of named accounts. It is a fine beginning to what my fictional friend Pesky illustrates as Your ABM journey. (Pesky has few other friends). But what's an industry? Should be obvious, right? Others are the obvious industries (such as banking). But what about retail? That may be either a vertical industry and a part of another industry (the retail arm of a bank).
