If you’re in Class 12 right now, you already know the truth: it’s not the syllabus that scares you, it’s the exam day. You can study for weeks, feel confident at home, and still lose marks in the board exam because of silly mistakes, poor time planning, or writing answers in a way that doesn’t match the board’s expectations. That’s why smart students (and most toppers) don’t treat sample papers like “extra practice.” They treat them like a rehearsal for the real show. And when it comes to boards, two resources matter more than anything else: the cbse class 12 physics sample paper and the cbse class 12 maths sample paper. What makes this approach “well-researched” (and not just motivational talk) is that CBSE itself clearly tells you the paper design and the shift toward competency-based questions. For 2024–25, CBSE increased competency-focused questions in Classes XI–XII to 50% (plus 20% MCQ/select-response), meaning the paper expects more application and less rote learning. Let’s break it down properly and turn sample papers into a scoring strategy.
