I'm getting ready to publish my first book on Amazon and I honestly did not expect formatting to be this frustrating. Every time I fix one thing, something else looks off, spacing, margins, chapter breaks, you name it. I spent a whole weekend trying to figure out amazon KDP book formatting on my own using free guides online, but the results still didn't look professional enough for what I wanted. While looking for better solutions, I came across The Author Central. They help authors with formatting along with writing and publishing support, and their formatted samples looked really clean and properly aligned with KDP requirements. It made me realize how much formatting actually affects the reading experience. If anyone here has gone through this process before, I'd love to hear how you handled it. And if you've used The Author Central or a similar service, please share your experience.
