Scoring under par means completing a golf hole or an entire round in fewer strokes than the course's designated par. Since par represents the expected number of strokes for an experienced golfer, finishing below it is considered an excellent result. The most common under-par scores are a birdie, which is one stroke under par, and an eagle in golf, which is two strokes under par. More rare achievements include an albatross golf at three strokes under par and a condor at four under par. Whether you make a birdie or an eagle in golf , every stroke under par lowers your overall score and reflects stronger, more consistent play on the course.
