Winter power outages are a serious part of life in Portland, Maine. A storm does not have to produce record-breaking snowfall to create a dangerous situation. How Long Could the Power Be Out?



One of the hardest parts of preparing for a Portland winter outage is knowing how long you should expect to wait. There is no single regional average that accurately predicts every storm.
