Movement can feel completely different when you've had a leg amputated above knee. Sitting down, standing up, transferring between surfaces, and eventually walking may require patience and practice. Some people adapt quickly, while others need more time and rehabilitation. If you've experienced an above-knee amputation, how did your mobility change during recovery? Were there particular exercises, techniques, or pieces of advice from your rehabilitation team that made everyday movement easier?
