I’ve been reading about The Bag Project and it really stands out. When children are removed from unsafe homes or enter foster care, they often leave with almost nothing. This group packs age-appropriate bags with basic necessities like toiletries, socks, underwear, a blanket, and a few comfort items so the kids have something of their own during a difficult transition. It’s volunteer-driven and focused on giving dignity in a moment when it’s needed most. Anyone here ever supported them or know of similar local efforts? Would love to hear more experiences.
